STEM WEek

Farmland PTA’s yearly STEM Week includes diverse guest speakers, a family STEM night, and in-class hands-on science for ALL of Farmland’s students!

STEM Night

STEM Night 2025 is Wednesday March 19th 5:30 to 7:00 PM at Farmland. Join us for a fun evening of hands-on science and meet local clubs and camps to learn more about opportunities for your family to connect with local STEM activities.

The event is FREE! Food will be available for purchase from Trippy Tacos.

Speakers

Each year, our PTA sponsors a speaker or panel of speakers to talk about their work in a scientific field. Past speakers have included a local meteorologist, a Paralympic swimmer, and a panel of all women scientists.

STEM Night

This free event is open to all Farmland families and features community science clubs, science enrichment class providers, and hands-on opportunities for students and their families to engage in scientific discovery together.

In-Class science

Each year, our PTA plans and coordinates differentiated in-classroom hands-on science learning opportunities for all of Farmland’s students, with opportunities for families to volunteer in their child’s classroom.
